C.D.S. (Scotland) Ltd Becomes a Disability Friendly Zone

C.D.S. (Scotland) Ltd is proud to announce that we are now officially recognised as a Disability Friendly Zone, reflecting our ongoing commitment to inclusion, equality, and accessibility across our organisation. We have partnered with I Am Me Scotland, a leading charity providing training and support to promote understanding and equality for people with disabilities. Their work helps organisations like ours create safer, more welcoming environments for employees, clients, and visitors. We would like to thank Mirren Murray, C.D.S.’s Administrative Assistant, who introduced us to the initiative through her previous experience with the charity and volunteered to be our Disability Friendly Champion. In this role, Mirren has completed her own training pack provided by the charity and is responsible for ensuring all C.D.S. staff complete the relevant training. This training equips employees with a foundational understanding of various disabilities and practical guidance on providing appropriate support. At C.D.S. (Scotland) Ltd, our goal is not only to create a Disability Friendly workplace, but also to ensure that our staff and operators can support and positively represent the company across public-facing projects and beyond.

A Step Towards a More Inclusive Future

Becoming a Disability Friendly Zone reflects our wider commitment as a Scottish construction and engineering company to social responsibility and ethical business practices. We hope that our recognition inspires other organisations across Scotland to prioritise inclusion and create environments where everyone can thrive.
